Resources > FAQs > Testimonials > What Is CPR?
Certified Rescue Courses serves primarily southern New England, but depending on the size of the group we will travel to all cities and towns throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island. From our central location in SE MA, we can easily travel to most locations in our geographical area.
Taking one of these classes should be the easiest class you'll ever take. At Certified Rescue Courses, we go out of our way to make this training as easy and enjoyable for your group. We believe learning CPR and First Aid should be fun.
Cards issued through Medic First Aid and The American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) are laminated and given the same day of the class. Classes taught through the American Heart Association will have a waiting period of about two weeks to have the cards issued. Cards will be mailed directly to the student or the organization that sponsored the training.
While there are many organizations offering CPR and First Aid classes in New England, we feel that our classes are simply the best for many reasons. We offer the best prices in the area, all of our instructors are emergency room registered nurses, our classes are relaxed and easy, there are no hidden costs, classes are completed quickly, and we teach all of our classes where you want them to be taught. It has never been easier to train your group.
At Certified Rescue Courses, we feel that everyone needs to know CPR and First Aid. In light of the fact that all of our courses are taught on-site, we are able to keep our costs low and the most reasonable in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. We do not have the expense of monthly rent for office space and we can pass that savings onto you. While CPR is the most important class you may ever take, it should also be very inexpensive. Our costs are very low and we will always keep our course prices the best in southern New England.
Absolutely! We specialize in CPR & first aid training for staff members at child day care centers throughout MA and RI. We also provide CPR, AED, & first aid training at all types of businesses, medical facilities, schools, and other types of organizations in the southern New England region.
At Certified Rescue Courses, we have many clients who require several hundred of their employees to have this safety training. We provide quality training year after year at the best prices in southern New England. Our low costs can save you thousands of dollars each year in training costs. Referrals are available upon request.
We require no deposits and understand that emergencies can occur where scheduling conflicts may arise. Just drop us an email or a phone call to inform us so we can work on rescheduling your group's next CPR and First Aid course.
We understand that students may be unable to attend a class at the last minute due to unforeseen circumstances or students may wish to join a class at the last minute. We always call you a few days before to confirm your class and to get the most accurate class size so we know how much equipment to bring with us.
Everything you need to complete the course is included in the quoted cost and provided that day. You will receive an airway barrier for use on the manikin; a book and your laminated completion card will be issued the day of your course. There no additional fees for on site training. Books can be ordered in advance through us for courses offered by the American Heart Association, but are not required.
Yes, you are. We carry a variety of airway barriers, AED and AED accessories, as well as first aid kits at a discount to our clients. Please contact us for a full price listing. When you purchase an AED through us, the training for your group is free and we will maintain your AED as long as you continue to use our services.
Having been in business for over 40 years, Certified Rescue Courses has a large client base and many of our larger clients have several hundred employees that require CPR and First Aid training on a regular basis. Large groups or an extended commitment is our specialty. We welcome groups of all sizes and look forward to providing your group with whatever safety training you may require. Because of our lower prices, this can save some organizations several thousand dollars each year in training costs.
Just give us a call and in most instances we will issue you a new card that very day.
We will go to any location that you choose to have your training. We teach classes at child and adult day care centers, dental offices, schools and universities, group homes, medical offices, banks, hospitals, construction companies, utility companies, and churches among many other locations.
Most of our courses can be completed in a couple short hours depending on the size and needs of the group. Recertification classes are shorter. There is no written testing in most of our CPR courses.
The simple to learn, life saving skills of CPR are intended to save a life. A person needing CPR is not alive and you cannot hurt them or make the situation any worse than it is. You can only help.
There are no required prerequisites needed prior to attending a CPR, First Aid, or AED training course.
The simple truth is to keep our costs low and pass the savings onto our clients. No matter what organization you chose to have your certification card issued through, whether it be Medic First Aid, the American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI), or the American Heart Association (AHA), the class content and what is being taught is all the same. They all follow the same guidelines and criteria as set forth by the American Heart Association. When a class is taken through Medic First Aid or ASHI we are able to include a book in the cost, as well as issue the completion card the same day as the course. Some healthcare providers though may require a healthcare provider card to be issued through the AHA and we offer that to them.
